ESSENTIAL: InDesign w/ Data Merge, graphics, AI prompts, initiative, attention to detail
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
UK BASED PREFERABLY SOUTH EAST
I’m looking for a skilled InDesign layout designer with an aptitude for data and in AI-assisted graphics (for example, working confidently with prompts) to help me complete an ongoing design project.
The work involves supporting the production of technical product materials, including product overviews, product pages, catalogues, and manufacturer lists.
I’m already a proficient to advanced InDesign user, so I’m looking for someone operating at a similar level who’s comfortable working collaboratively rather than being briefed step-by-step.
This would suit someone who enjoys structured layout work, is comfortable handling data tables and large image sets, and is happy working within clear creative and brand guidelines. The emphasis is on accuracy, consistency, and delivery rather than open-ended creative exploration.
You’ll need to be organised, methodical, and able to work on your own initiative. Familiarity with technical language would be helpful.
The InDesign templates are around 60–70% complete, so the role is about building on what’s already in place and helping get the project finished to a high standard.
Ideally, you’d be based in the South East of England, as I travel regularly between East Sussex and Hertfordshire, and there may be occasional opportunities to meet in person.
There’s potential for this to develop into ongoing work if it’s a good fit.
