Dark Academia Reading Journal

I need a reading journal laid out so it can go straight to the printer as a perfect-bound book. The aesthetic is firmly Dark Academia: vintage illustrations, gothic-style typography, and a muted colour palette dominate every spread. Please weave in tasteful busts of well-known classic authors alongside a few contemporary favourites so the book feels timeless rather than purely nostalgic.
Inside pages should include space for title, author, start/finish dates, key quotes, personal reflections, ratings, and a small notes section. Feel free to propose any extra spreads that add value (reading goals, monthly summaries, favourite passages, et cetera) as long as they stay on brand.
The finished file must be:
• Print-ready PDF with bleed, CMYK, 300 DPI
• Cover and interior supplied as separate files
• All fonts either embedded or outlined
Hand over the original, editable source file too (InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or similar) so minor tweaks remain possible before press. If you have questions about page count or trim size, flag them early so we can lock specifications before you begin layout.
