Creative Thesis Design in Adobe InDesign

I need a creative yet classic layout for my 60-page thesis report, which focuses on a design project. The report is to be designed in Adobe InDesign. The design should be able to incorporate various elements, including images, photos, charts, graphs, illustrations and icons. I have had a friend construct files in Indesign; however, it is one of the only Adobe applications I am not versed in, so I need help laying the writing out and formating the document with references etc. and have images, photos, charts,, interactive sketches, wire wireframes etc. all displayed in a well designed final format. 35 pages will mostly look like a well-designed white page, better then the one designed. The other will need help laying out images etc

Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign
- Experience in academic or thesis report design
- Strong graphic design skills
- Ability to work with a variety of visual elements

-Turn around needs to rather quick
