Classic Poetry Book Layout & Design

I’m preparing a 50-page poetry collection divided into four distinct sections and need a polished interior layout that feels classic and elegant from the first leaf to the last. The entire book will live in a monochrome palette, so strong typographic choices and refined use of white space are essential.

Here’s what I want to see brought to life:
• Tasteful borders and frames that subtly anchor each page without overwhelming the verse.
• Distinctive chapter headers that announce each of the four sections in a way that signals a shift in tone while remaining stylistically consistent.
• Light illustrative or decorative flourishes—think line art or emblematic motifs—that enrich the reading experience yet keep the focus on the words.

Page count is fixed at around 50, and the structure is already finalised. I’ll supply the manuscript in Word, along with basic section notes. You’ll transform it into a print-ready PDF (and provide the editable source file—InDesign or an equivalent professional layout tool is fine).

Acceptance will be based on:
1. Visual consistency across all pages and sections.
2. Adherence to the monochrome, classic aesthetic.
3. Print readiness to standard trade paperback specs.
