Classic Family Layflat Album Design

I’m gathering our favorite family photos into a premium lay-flat book and need a skilled album designer to shape them into a cohesive keepsake. The look I’m after is classic and timeless—elegant layouts that will age gracefully, without trendy graphics or flashy effects.

You’ll work with 80-100 high-resolution images (supplied in sequence or as a shared folder) and turn them into balanced spreads that tell our story. Photo collages should be used where they help fit more memories without crowding the page; otherwise, I prefer full-bleed or half-page images that breathe.

Key expectations
• Curate, sequence, and lightly retouch images as needed for consistency.
• Design every spread in true lay-flat format, observing trim, bleed, and gutter safety zones.
• Maintain a clean aesthetic: neutral backgrounds, restrained typography only when dates/locations need noting, no decorative borders.
• Provide two round-proof PDFs for feedback before finalizing.
• Deliverables: print-ready PDF plus editable source file (Adobe InDesign or equivalent) sized to 12 × 12 in (or nearest common lay-flat size we agree on).

Timeline: first draft within 7 days of image hand-off, final files within 14 days.
