Cherry Blossom Book Design

My third book—100 full-colour pages celebrating the cultural significance of cherry blossoms—is ready for a designer who enjoys breathing life into two-page spreads. I’m drawn to a traditional, ornate aesthetic that evokes heritage scrolls and wood-block prints while still feeling fresh on the shelf.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Page-by-page layout (print + digital) that flows as immersive spreads.
• Careful placement of the illustrations and photos I’ll supply, balanced with small infographics, maps and charts that explain history, symbolism and festival rites.
• Elegant typography choices, decorative borders, subtle textures and colour palettes that honour classic Japanese design.
• Press-ready files (PDF/X-1a) plus the complete, organised Adobe InDesign package so my printer can tweak if required.
