I want to create a short proposal for a children’s magazine that sharpens logical thinking in readers aged 9-12. The focus will be on science experiments presented in a fun, interactive way.

Here’s what I need from you:
• A concise content plan outlining departments, recurring sections, and at least five article ideas built around hands-on science activities.
• Rough copy for one full feature (about 600–800 words) plus three short snippets or sidebars that invite experimentation.
• A bright, colorful visual treatment: cover concept, two sample spreads, and a style guide specifying palette, typefaces, and illustration approach.
• Suggestions for how each experiment can be linked to logical-thinking skills so parents and teachers immediately see the educational value.

Please keep the tone energetic and age-appropriate, incorporate simple diagrams or icons where useful, and supply all layouts in an easily editable format (InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or Canva are fine). Once I review the first draft, I’ll provide feedback for a single round of refinements before sign-off.
