Book Designer for Academic Publications
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
There are many books, both print and pdf and this is an ongoing project with perhaps 25-30 publications per year. The project estimate is basically for a template for different layouts, but there should be a consistency in style between books. The colors and text can vary, but I want the publications to look like they come from the same source.
My aesthetic requirements are over the top picky. The words I use might be dignified, elegant or perhaps refined, polished, stunning, and original. I simply will not tolerate anything that is not very close to museum quality. I expect attention to detail and a collection of pages for different positioning of text and images. I use Adobe InDesign CS5 and will want the designs to go on master pages.
Freelancers should avoid deluging me with long lists of links. Submit three examples of projects for you are proud and make it clear what role you played. If you were not the actual designer, then don't show me the image. Time is valuable and a clear bid is deeply appreciated.
