Attractive Word Document for Presentation

I need a very simple Microsoft Word document to be made visually pleasing for a formal presentation.

I am trying to demonstrate the annual grown in donor income over the past 4 years with a comparrion that shows how it would have looked had one simple $100,000 deposit been made on July 1 instead of June 30th placing it in a new fiscal year. I have alredy done the report - it just ugly and I'm not sure is easy to understand, if I'm not there to communicate things. I need it to be laidout in an undestandable way. I'm not sure if the document should have the comparrions side by side or one below the other
