Arabic language only (Ancient History Book Design)

Job ID: 39898703

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m preparing a non-fiction book on Ancient History and need a complete design package that makes the subject feel vivid yet scholarly. The manuscript is finished; what I’m missing is a polished visual presentation—from the first glance at the cover to the final page of the index.

Scope
• Develop an eye-catching front, spine, and back cover that conveys the gravitas of an academic title while remaining inviting to general readers.
• Create a clean, readable interior layout in Adobe InDesign, balancing text with a curated set of photographs I will supply (roughly 40 images, mostly grayscale).
• Determine consistent typography, heading hierarchy, captions, and call-outs so the flow of long-form historical narrative stays engaging.
• Place and lightly retouch photos where needed, ensuring resolution meets print standards and that each image sits close to its relevant passage.
• Provide print-ready PDF files (CMYK, bleed, embedded fonts) plus packaged InDesign files. If you can also export an EPUB or reflowable Kindle version, that’s a welcome bonus.

I’ll share the final manuscript, photo folder, and a style reference the moment we start. I’m aiming for a detailed layout proof of one sample chapter within the first milestone, then iterate to finalize the entire 280-page book.

Experience with academic or history titles, familiarity with print specs from KDP or IngramSpark, and a portfolio showing thoughtful photo integration will set you apart.
