Adobe InDesign Project -

I have an Adobe InDesign project that I need help with. I have a digital image of a one page magazine article from 1903. I would like to have it reformatted. ( so the columns are same height)- and skightly enlarged, so print is bigger, but keep original type. Given that image is a photo of an article, I’d also like to understand if “tint” of older original document can be eliminated , so merely the text gets printed ( on colored background). Finished project will be part of framed art display, along with painting of/by the author.
