Fix Gmail-Outlook 365 Sync

Job ID: 40290550

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m running the classic (Win32) build of Outlook 365 and need my two Gmail inboxes to connect there, not in the “New Outlook” toggle that Microsoft is pushing. New Outlook adds them without issue, yet the moment I switch back to the classic interface the profile wizard either hangs or eventually tells me it can’t finish the setup—no specific error code appears.

Here is what I have already tried:

• Confirmed IMAP is enabled in both Gmail accounts
• Double-checked Google’s incoming/outgoing server names and ports
• Created an app-password after Google retired “Allow less secure apps”
• Cleared old credentials from Windows Credential Manager and restarted

None of that worked, so I’m looking for an expert who understands the OAuth2 flow between Google Workspace / personal Gmail and Outlook 365, knows where classic Outlook stores authentication tokens, and can walk me through—or remote in with AnyDesk/Teams—to get both accounts showing up in the folder pane just like my Exchange mailbox.

Deliverables
1. Both Gmail accounts added and syncing (mail, calendar, contacts) inside classic Outlook 365.
2. Written steps or a short screen-capture so I can reproduce the fix on another PC later.

If additional registry tweaks, profile resets, or admin-level PowerShell commands are required, that’s fine—just keep a note of what was changed.
