Poster-Ready Image Upscale

I have a single image that is currently under 72 DPI and breaks down whenever I zoom in. I need it enlarged to a clean, print-ready file that will hold up at 40 cm × 50 cm for a poster. Color accuracy and sharp detail are crucial because this is going straight to a professional printer.
You’re free to use whatever workflow you prefer—Photoshop, Topaz Gigapixel AI, vector conversion, or a mix—so long as the final result looks crisp at normal viewing distance and close inspection.
Deliverables
• One flattened TIFF or high-quality PNG at 40 cm × 50 cm, 300 DPI
• The same file in RGB and CMYK, ready for online proofing and press output
• A brief note on the upscaling method so I can replicate the process later, if needed
I’ll supply the original file as soon as we start; I’m ready to review a first draft quickly and provide immediate feedback.
