I want to launch a consumer-friendly mobile app for both iOS and Android that lets people snap a packaged-food photo, instantly recognise the product, and tell them—in plain language—whether it is good for them and where they can buy it at the best price.

Core flow
• The user points the camera at a product. Using image recognition and on-device OCR the app attempts to match it to an item in our database or via an external API.
• If the match is uncertain, the app prompts for a quick barcode scan.
• Once identified, the app pulls ingredient and nutrition data, analyses it, then:
– assigns a 0-10 health score,
– marks harmful ingredients in red and beneficial ones in green,
– generates a concise “healthy / not healthy” summary.
• A price-comparison module surfaces live or cached prices from Blinkit, BigBasket, Zepto, Instamart and similar sources.
• Optionally, when a user enters height and weight, the app recommends fruit and vegetable choices aligned with their profile.

Design & product direction
I have rough wireframes and a clear visual style in mind but need help polishing the UX and final UI. I’m open to suggestions on colour-coding, iconography, and micro-copy that keep the experience friendly and fast.

Tech expectations
A single code-base framework (React Native, Flutter, or similar) makes sense, but I’m flexible as long as both platforms run smoothly. The backend can be Node, Django, or another stack that supports:
• secure user accounts,
• real-time product lookup,
• ingredient analysis rules,
• integrations to retailer price APIs,
• analytics for feature usage.

Deliverables
1. Universal iOS & Android app (ready for App Store and Play Store submission).
2. Backend with documented REST/GraphQL endpoints.
3. Admin panel or simple CMS to update product and pricing sources.
4. Polished UI based on my sketches.
5. Source code, build instructions, and hand-off documentation.

Acceptance criteria (MVP)
• Product scanning, health rating, and price comparison all work offline-first with graceful fallback.
• Health score and coloured ingredient highlights match predefined logic.
• Search and barcode fallback resolve at least 90 % of common supermarket items.
• Price data refreshes within the schedule we agree on.
• Height/weight based produce suggestions appear correctly when data is provided.
