Windows Document Image Cleanup Tool

Job ID: 40035749

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I need a self-contained Windows desktop application that can take a batch of scanned pages—often a mix of text, graphics, and photos—run them through a full cleanup pipeline, and return crisp, deskewed files in either JPG or TIFF.

Core workflow I have in mind
1. Import: drag-and-drop or folder selection for multipage scans.
2. Processing: automatic noise removal, realignment/deskew, intelligent auto-crop that detects page edges, contrast enhancement, and background smoothing so mixed content looks clear and uniform.
3. Export: save each processed page individually or as a sequence, letting me choose JPG or TIFF on the fly.

Technical notes
• Must run natively on modern Windows 10/11 without external dependencies; a single installer or portable EXE is fine.
• I’m comfortable if you build in C#, C++ or Python so long as the final app is standalone. OpenCV, .NET, or similar imaging libraries are welcome.
• UI can stay simple—a preview pane and a few buttons are all I need—but processing speed should be optimized for batches of 50–100 pages.

Acceptance criteria
• A compiled executable that launches on a clean Windows machine.
• Sample before/after set showing visible quality improvement on mixed-content scans.
• Source code and brief README so I can rebuild later if needed.

Let me know which framework you prefer and any further questions about the image pipeline.
