Wildlife B&W Photo Enhancement

I have a series of black-and-white wildlife shots that need a careful, artistic touch. I am looking for subtle refinements—nothing heavy-handed—that bring the animals forward while preserving the natural atmosphere of each scene.

Here is what I’m after:
• Balanced brightness and contrast so the tonal range feels rich without blowing out highlights or crushing shadows.
• Thoughtful noise reduction that keeps fur, feathers, and textures intact.
• Precise sharpening to reveal fine detail on the animals without creating halos or an over-processed look.

The final edits should feel organic, with the animals clearly emphasized yet still integrated into their surroundings. Please work non-destructively and supply high-resolution finals (TIFF or max-quality JPEG) along with layered PSDs or equivalent so I can review the adjustment workflow.
