Seamless Childhood Photo Merge

I have two separate portraits of two girls, both between 7 – 10 years old, and I want them combined into a single, believable “childhood-friends” image. The faces must remain completely untouched—no reshaping, no skin-smoothing that alters expression—so their features look exactly as they do now.

Please align their bodies so they appear the same height, then place them against a clean, plain-color backdrop. Natural lighting should unify the scene, giving the photo an outdoor-daylight feel without harsh shadows. Overall colour balance needs to stay lifelike and flattering, with seamless edge work: no cut-out halos, no mismatched tones, no tell-tale Photoshop artifacts.

The final deliverable is one high-resolution file suitable for large prints and further retouching if required. Alongside your layered source file (PSD or TIFF), include a flattened JPEG in sRGB. I’ll review at 100 % zoom to make sure hair, clothing and background transitions are smooth and the composition feels genuinely captured in one shot.
