Rockchip Super.img GSI Repack
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I have pulled the dynamic super.img from a Rockchip RK3562 tablet running Android 14 and now need it rebuilt with a LineageOS ARM64 GSI that is already in .img format. The workflow I expect is:
• Manually unpack the current super image, keeping original partition metadata intact.
• Swap the stock system partition with the provided LineageOS GSI.
• Make minor system-level tweaks inside the GSI before repacking; I will share the exact settings I want changed once the image is mounted.
• Re-assemble everything with lpmake so the new super.img flashes cleanly.
• Patch the stock vbmeta.img through avbtool to disable AVB and dm-verity completely, then verify the flags are gone.
Deliverables must include:
1. Repacked super.img ready for fastboot or RKDevTool.
2. Patched vbmeta.img.
3. The exact lpmake and avbtool command lines you used so I can reproduce the build later.
Please be confident working with dynamic partitions, lpunpack/lpmake, avbtool, sparse images and Rockchip flashing utilities. A short proof-of-concept—booting the tablet to confirm the OS loads without verity errors—will be the final acceptance test.
