Remove Obstructing Stair Rail

I have a single graduation photo that’s almost perfect—except for one stair rail cutting across the frame. I need that rail removed so the image looks completely natural, as though the obstruction was never there. The surrounding shadows and lighting must remain consistent; any trace of tampering should be invisible at full resolution.

Please work non-destructively (Photoshop or equivalent), export the retouched photo in the same resolution I provide, and return both the final JPEG/PNG and a layered file so I can review the adjustments. This is an urgent request, so the sooner you can turn it around, the better.
