Prepare Stencil Photos for Laser Cutting
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need help preparing JPEG photos for laser cutting a stencil. The final stencil size should be 12x18 inches.
Requirements:
- Convert images to black & white
- Enhance contrast
Ideal skills:
- Experience with photo editing
- Proficiency in handling JPEG files
- Familiarity with preparing images for laser cutting
Attached are four photos to hopefilly develop some graphic files, to then burn stencils on the laser, to then apply paint to native american style hand drum.
Note: The drum head is about 15 inches in diameter.
The first goal would be to create a stencil to reproduce on the drum head the trees graphic in photo #1 (without the owl and without the moon).
The diameter of the arc of that final graphic would hopefully be about 12-13 inches in size, leaving enough space on the right side of the drum head to later paint on a crescent moon.
The second goal would be to generate a graphic file of the "Jyoti" symbol as depicted in photo #2.
The third goal would be to generate a graphic file of the "Om" symbol as depicted in photo #3
The fourth goal would be to, if possible, create a stencil of a hawk to put in place of the owl seen in photo #1.
There is a very rough photo of a hawk in 3/4 profile in photo #4. Would there be a way to generate a graphic file image of a hawk standing in similar 3/4 profile?
If so, the size of the hawk in the graphic image file and resultant stencil would be similar in size to the (deleted) owl in photo #1.
