Feasibility study being conducted to pick and pour a 50 kg sugar bag into a bucket. The bags are lying at about 15 ft away on a pallet. The bags on a pallet lying in a multi-layer. Each layers have 5 bags and in total, 30 bags lying on pallet. A 3d printer type arm is being proposed to pick the bag and place on the conveyer belt to bring it as close as possible to the bucket. A further 2-axis arm is being proposed to pick and pour the sugar into the bucket. The bag needs to be cut from the bottom to pour the sugar right before hanging over the bucket.

Image processing is specifically required due to the unconfirmed position of the bags on the pallet. Another issue is at the bags are made-up of polyester and even the lying position is not guaranteed due to the sugar weight and manually placing on the pallet.
