Mumbai Freelancers Needed for Photo Digitization
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I have roughly three to five thousand printed photographs & negs that I want converted into a clean, well-organised digital album. All the images are in Mumbai with me, so I need someone local who can handle the whole workflow—from scanner or camera capture to neatly named, lightly polished JPEGs.
The job is straightforward: scan each print, crop and deskew if necessary, run quick, non-destructive touch-ups in Photoshop whenever a picture shows dust, minor scratches or dull colour, and then save everything in a clearly structured folder system that mirrors the original order. No elaborate retouching or artistic manipulation is expected; basic restoration only if an image obviously needs it.
Key deliverables:
• High-resolution digital files (one folder per album/envelope, numbered sequentially)
• Light Photoshop cleanup on an as-needed basis
• A master index in CSV or Excel listing file names and any notes you add during the process
You can use your own scanner/DSLR setup or the flatbed negative / positive scanner I have on-site—whichever you’re faster with. If you’re organised, careful with handling fragile prints, and comfortable with Photoshop’s essential tools, this project should move smoothly.
