Modernize and Recolor Vintage Photo

I have a single old photograph that feels flat and dated. I’d like it refreshed with moderate color enhancement so it looks more vivid and contemporary while still feeling authentic to its era. The people in the shot should be the focal point—skin tones, clothing, and facial details need careful, natural-looking colorization.

Please keep the palette realistic rather than artistic or vintage effects; I’m aiming for a believable “this could have been taken today” result. Gentle retouching to remove minor scratches, dust, or fading is welcome, but avoid heavy smoothing that erases character lines.

Deliverables
• High-resolution, fully colorized JPEG (and layered PSD if you work in Photoshop)
• A brief note on the adjustments you made so I can reference them later

I’ll supply the scan in TIFF format as soon as we start. If you think specialized tools—Photoshop, Lightroom, or AI colorization plug-ins—will help achieve a cleaner outcome, feel free to use them. Looking forward to seeing the photo come back to life.
