Lighten Shadowed Portrait Faces

I have a single photograph, but everyone in the shot is hidden under a heavy foreground shadow. I’m looking for someone who can lift those shadows just enough for the faces to look naturally lit—nothing extreme, a moderate adjustment that keeps the scene believable.
Because this is a personal keepsake, the final image has to retain its warmth and authenticity. Please work at full resolution so no detail is lost.
