High-End Automotive Photo Retouching
Budget: $20 – $30 USD
I am looking for an experienced automotive retoucher who can transform a real-world photo of a car into a studio-style, high-end visual, suitable for large-format acrylic printing.
The goal is to achieve:
Proper studio lighting
Controlled reflections
Realistic depth and volume
A premium, brand-quality finish
Key Challenges (Important)
The source images is a real photo, taken outdoors.
Typical issues include:
Uneven sunlight and harsh highlights
Distracting or incorrect shadows
Reflections from surroundings
Lighting that makes the car look “flat” when isolated
Simply removing the background is not sufficient.
The car must be re-lit and re-shaped visually, so it reads as a studio object with depth and presence.
Scope of Work
The retouching process should include:
Clean and precise background removal
Rebuilding or reshaping shadows (subtle ground shadow only)
Adjusting highlights and reflections for a controlled studio look
Correcting paint color while preserving realism
Ensuring consistent proportions and perspective
Creating a neutral, dark studio-style background (black or very dark gradient)
Removing environmental light artifacts (sunlight, color casts, reflections)
Preparing the file for high-quality acrylic printing
The grey car is a reference photo. The green/blue car is the car that is to be edited.
