Grandpa-Granddaughter Photorealistic Composite
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I have a handful of scanned images of my grandpa—most a little faded—and a fresh, high-resolution photo of my daughter. My goal is a single, fully photorealistic portrait that makes it look as though the two of them are relaxing on a couch, reading a book together. Lighting, colour grade and perspective should match so naturally that someone who didn’t know the story would assume the moment was really captured by camera.
Because source material for my grandpa is limited, careful restoration and up-sampling will be needed before the actual compositing. I’ll supply every file I have, plus reference shots of the living-room couch we’d like to place them on, to help you recreate shadows and ambient tones accurately.
Deliverables (all digital):
• One high-resolution (300 dpi) print-ready JPG/PNG, minimum 8×10 inches
• The layered PSD/PSB (or equivalent) so any future tweaks remain possible
• Up to two minor revision passes for colour or minor retouch adjustments
Please keep generative AI out of the photo; Photoshop (with Neural Filters if useful) or comparable professional retouching tools are preferred.
