Forum Image Moderation Specialist

Job ID: 40529332

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I run a busy niche forum where members can attach images to their posts. Only images require review—there is no text-post or video screening involved—so your full attention can stay on visual content quality and community safety.

The images arrive as standard uploaded files (not live-streamed). Before any file appears publicly, I need a quick but thorough check against our house rules and general legal standards (copyright, nudity, violence, hate symbols, personal data, etc.). I can supply a clear policy document and a lightweight decision tree; you’ll refine it with me as edge cases emerge.

Core flow
• Images land in a private review queue.
• You approve, reject, or escalate with a short note.
• Rejected items automatically trigger a templated message to the user; escalations go to me.

Acceptance criteria
• 98 % of queued images processed within 6 hours (we’re timezone-flexible and can adjust shifts).
• Consistent decisions that match the policy in at least 95 % of random audits.
• A weekly summary report outlining major rejection reasons and any pattern you notice.

We work in a straightforward web dashboard; no extra tools are required beyond an eye for detail and sound judgement. If you already use services like PhotoDNA, Google Vision, or your own flagging checklist, feel free to integrate them—just keep the final decision human.

Let’s start with a one-week trial (approximately 1,000 images); excellent performance will turn this into an ongoing engagement.
