Certified Signature Authenticity Analysis
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
This engagement centres on a preliminary forensic comparison of one questioned signature against up to three known exemplars. High-resolution scans of every signature will be placed in a secure cloud folder; once the link is shared you can work entirely from digital files, no physical media involved.
The work calls for a practitioner who already holds a recognised Forensic Document Examination credential (SAFE, IADE, ABFDE or equivalent). Please include a short bio or CV that highlights past casework and your specific experience with scanned-document or image-based examinations.
Scope of analysis
• Evaluate line quality, pressure, stroke sequence, rhythm and other individual habit patterns
• Note any indicators of simulation, tracing or forgery techniques
• Reach a preliminary opinion on whether the questioned signature is genuine, disguised, or forged
Deliverable
A concise written report—PDF format only—summarising observations, the comparative basis for each conclusion, and your overall opinion. Signature and credentials on the letter are required so it stands as a formal professional opinion.
Acceptance criteria
1. Findings are clearly linked to observable features in the submitted scans.
2. Opinion statement follows standard FDE terminology (genuine / probably genuine / indeterminate / probably not genuine / not genuine).
3. Report is delivered within the agreed timeline and in digitally signed PDF form.
If the above aligns with your expertise, I look forward to reviewing your credentials and discussing turnaround time.
