Bulk Rename of JPEG Photos
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
im need on a batch of just over 200 JPEG photos, each already sorted in its correct location folder. Your sole mission is to open each image, read the visible physical ID tag, and rename the file to my exact convention—LOCATION-ID.jpg—without introducing a single typo. Because the folders are already in place, there’s no need to create new ones; simply overwrite the filenames right where they sit.
Feel free to lean on whatever workflow suits you best—Adobe Bridge, ACDSee, XnView, command-line scripting, or any other bulk-renaming tool—as long as the final names and paths match the template I’ll supply. Speed matters, but accuracy is non-negotiable: I’ll be spot-checking the finished set against the tags before sign-off.
Deliverables
• All 200+ JPEGs renamed exactly to the provided LOCATION-ID format
• Existing folder hierarchy preserved, ready for immediate upload to our server
I’ll hand over the images and the naming cheat-sheet as soon as you’re on board, and I’m happy to answer questions in real time so you can move fast without second-guessing.
