Book Cover Border Removal

I need the solid-color border taken off a book cover image while keeping every detail of the original artwork intact. You will receive the file as soon as I have it—this might arrive as a straight digital image or as a scan/photo of the physical cover, so please be comfortable working with either format. No colour correction, added text, or other retouching is required; the goal is simply a clean, precise edge where the border used to be. When the work is done, please return one high-resolution, border-free file (PNG or JPEG) ready for print and online use.
