PDF Photo Forensics Report

Job ID: 40202980

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have between one and five PDF files that embed photographs, and I need each image examined for evidence of manipulation. The focus is on three specific red-flag areas: visual anomalies in lighting, shadows, or perspective; metadata inconsistencies (when any metadata can be extracted); and traces left by compression or editing workflows.

The deliverable is a detailed written report. For every PDF you review, I expect clear, professional language that:

• Describes any irregularities you detect, citing page and object coordinates when possible
• Explains what tool or test (e.g., ExifTool, Forensically, error-level analysis, histogram inspection in Photoshop/Affinity Photo, Acrobat’s preflight data) produced each finding
• Ranks the severity of each issue so I understand whether it is merely suggestive or strongly indicative of tampering
• Summarizes overall authenticity confidence for the document as a whole

Please keep your explanations comprehensive yet readable by a non-technical audience; screenshots or annotated overlays are welcome but not required.

I will provide the PDFs once we start. Let me know what turnaround you can commit to and which forensic tools you prefer so I can ensure compatibility with my own verification workflow.
