Watercolor Children’s Book Illustrations
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m putting together a picture book for children aged 3-5 and want it brought to life through a soft, dreamy Water Color Style. The project calls for 11-20 full-spread illustrations that feel playful, warm, and easy for very young readers to explore.
You’ll receive the manuscript with scene notes and page counts so you can map out composition, color palette, and character poses. From there I’d like to see rough pencils for feedback before you move on to the final watercolor treatment (traditional or digital is fine as long as the hand-painted look remains).
Final art should arrive as high-resolution, print-ready files (CMYK, 300 dpi) plus web-friendly RGB versions. Layered originals are a bonus if you work digitally.
