Traditional Indian Festive Wear Design

I’m expanding my Indian clothing label and need an experienced fashion designer to develop a fresh line of traditional wear. The focus is on pieces that blend classic aesthetics with a modern touch—think Indo-western silhouettes alongside timeless ethnic styles and elegant salwar suits. Every design must feel at home at weddings and key festivals, so rich detailing, thoughtful fabric selection, and a celebration-ready colour palette are essential.

Here’s how I picture our workflow: we start with mood boards and rough sketches, refine a cohesive collection of 8–10 outfits, and move on to detailed flats, tech packs, and embroidery or trim call-outs ready for sampling. If you already work in Illustrator or similar CAD tools, great—just share files in editable format so my production unit can take them forward.

Deliverables

• Tech packs with measurements, trims, and fabrication notes
• One round of revisions after initial feedback
