Cyberpunk Style - 12 Panel - One Page Comic
Format & Drawing Style: I need one A4-sized comic book page with 12 square panels. No text is needed just the colour drawing in a futuristic cyberpunk style.
Main Character: Frank (Check attachment for visual reference.)
Story:
Panel 1: Wakes Up in Apartment. An unbearable pain grows and grows… the usual stuff just won’t cut it. Frank decides to take a trip downtown to his supplier.
Panel 2: Leaning on the rail, he stumbles down the 3 flights of stairs to the ground floor.
Panel 3: Robots and cyber-enhanced people everywhere you look. Frank walks through dark and gritty streets towards the subway entrance, as a hooker tries to get his attention. Frank seems less than interested as he dismisses her with an aggressive way of his hand.
Panel 4: Bombarded by ads. 3D holograms are projected next to him. They talk to him in a flirtatious way as he tries to ignore them. An ad appears, promoting Biotech Chip for VR experiences.
Panel 5: One of Frank's only and closest confidants is a bartender. This man is aggressive and quick with the shotgun for almost any reason. Big or small. He serves Frank a drink.
Panel 6: Meets drug dealer behind local bar. He looks over at the bonfire. Energy and love emanated from the flames. streams of colour shoot out like fireworks. Aware that it’s most likely the drugs Franks stares at it with awe.
Panel 7: Suddenly a truck drives by startling him. He looks over and as the truck passes, he sees a biotech store across the road. He’s suddenly reminded of the ad from earlier. In this vulnerable moment, Frank leans in on the feeling and walks over to the store.
Panel 8: He gets a VR Chip installed in his head.
Panel 9: Frank walks out still drunk but sobering up. The VR advertisements immediately begin to bombard him, but it doesn’t bother him in this moment. Taking it all in Frank uses the free, green garden settings mode.
Panel 10: As he walks through this tunnel of leaves it surprises him how beautiful and peaceful it is. Suddenly, he bumps into a couple of thugs on the street. The VR cuts out and Frank is back to his shitty life. The thugs immediately get pissed off and beat the shit out of Frank, he’s hit a few times before being thrown to the ground.
Panel 11: The chip flashes as it smashes against the ground. They continue to kick him for a minute then spit on him before leaving. Frank lays there with his face in a puddle...
Panel 12: Frank makes the journey back home. Opens the door and grabs a bear. Sitting down he turns on the TV to a basketball game, but as he goes to take a sip, he realises it’s not beer. He now holding a bottle of hot sauce. A hacker begins to message with him.
