Children's book illustrator

I'm currently searching for someone with previous experience creating illustrations for children's books. It will be a 15-20 page book, with approx. 2/3 figures with a similar appearance (the same animal just slightly modified to show individual characteristic's). Has to be suitable for commercial use, illustrators name will be fully credited in finalised product. Text will be added to the images separately, illustrations needed only. More information regarding storyline etc.. will be given to those who show an interested in the project. I'm only looking to spend approx. £400. Potential for additional books to need illustrating if successful.
