I’m creating a new children’s book and need a talented illustrator who can bring the story to life with bright, playful cartoon-style artwork. The tone is light-hearted and imaginative, so expressive characters, simple backgrounds, and eye-catching colour palettes are essential.

What I already have:
• A complete manuscript with page breaks and rough art notes for each scene.
• Reference images that capture the mood, character proportions, and colour direction.

What I need from you:
• A series of high-resolution, full-colour cartoon illustrations (cover plus interior spreads; final count confirmed once we review the storyboard together).
• Source files in layered PSD or AI format as well as print-ready PNG/PDF exports.
• Consistent character design and palette across all pages.

Workflow I have in mind:
1. You share quick pencil or digital roughs for every page—this is where we lock composition and character poses.
2. Once approved, you move to clean line art and flat colours.
3. Final pass for shading, textures, and any tweaks before delivering press-ready files.

Acceptance criteria:
• Each illustration aligns with the approved style guide and fits the page dimensions I’ll supply.
• All text placeholders remain clear for the typesetter.
• Final files arrive organised, named logically, and ready for CMYK print.
