storybook illustrator for a bedtime story for grownups
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I am looking for an experienced storybook illustrator to create a unique, realistic bedtime story for grownups about a 1980s Blade Runner style city (Vaporwave Aesthetic heavily focusing on blues and purples - see attached pics) in which the protagonist, Dylan and his best friend, Munch (A fuzzy blue cat) have to defeat an evil record label executive who's trying to hypnotize the entire world into a trance and make independent music illegal.
The story is like Stranger Things meets Jim Henson 80s movies.

Munch - blue furry cat (I can send pictures)
Charlie (old, heavyset, rugged war vet obsessed with conspiracy theories)
Xander - (bald, sleek and power hungry protagonist of the story)
Neon Voltage (4 members - an 80s band that are good guys)
Spanex Thunrder (4 Members - an 80s band that are bad guys)
Door Security Guards (2 big guys in suits and sunglasses)
Upper room security Guards (misc guys in sunglasses and suits)
News anchor - (appears on a TV briefly)
Journalists/press (misc characters)
Misc people/background characters
The style of illustration should be fun and creative but leaning towards realistic and the artist should have experience creating storybook illustrations for adults.
