Langley BC, wedding guest portrait sketches
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
I'm seeking a talented quick artist to offer 3-5min drawings/sketches of guests at our wedding on Sept 14, 2024 in Langley BC for about 3 hours. Instead of a photo booth, we want to offer our guests a quickly created image to commemorate their experience and entertain our guests. We have almost 150 guests and expect between 60 and 80 images to be needed.
Here's what we need:
We decided against caricature as everyone will be in their best clothes and we want the pictures to be flattering and not mocking.
- Multiple Subjects: We'd like to offer our guests an image of between 1 person to a small family to take home with them. Guests can be in one image so if they go solo they can't also have a couple and or family image. (so everyone has a chance to be in an image)
- Wedding Experience: We'd prefer someone familiar with large group events who can do a lot images back-to-back and relatively quickly.
Skills & Experience:
- Portraiture
- Consistent art style
- Wedding/event experience
- Efficient speedy work to capture live moments
- Must be able to handle multiple subjects.
On-site work is a must so being able to travel to Langley, BC is required. If you can make our wedding day extra special, please submit a proposal! We are not overly particular about the animation style as long as it is not mocking or degrading etc. If your art style is cute, somewhat abstract, realistic, cartoony, etc we want to hear from you! I have attached random images from the internet that would meet our criteria. The most important thing is that the images can be completed in under 5 min (per person) so that every guest can be in an image. Also, if you have set rates by hour or by image, let us know what you normally charge. Thank you for bringing your artistic vision to our wedding!
