I need help with a fictional map

I am writing a fantasy book series and need help creating the map for the book. I have an idea of what shape to have the map, but that's about it. I want 8 different territories. deadlands to the very south, with a magical border between it and the human realm. above the humans will be the fae. there will also be a magical border separating the humans and fae. I would like mountains going through the human realm. I have created a rough scetch of what id like, feel free to change it around. I would like to have the map look like it is old and the edges are burnt.
