To illustrate a childrens book - not for publication

Hello, I'm looking for an artistic and creative illustrator to bring a children's book to life. I have the story and imagination ready, but the illustrations need to be the perfect addition to make the story vibrant.
I'm looking for a cartoon-style illustration set in the Australian bush. I'm open to a range of ideas and color schemes. The book will require 8 illustrations total. The main character is a 4yo girl, who has blonde hair with pigtails sticking out the side. Her best friends are 4 black and tan kelpie working dogs, and 2 cats (one black and one tabby)
Whoever takes on this project will have full creative reign in designing unique, interesting drawings to match up with the story. As this project is not for publication, I am looking for affordable pricing.
