My grandma told me

Job ID: 31246903

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

My project deals with stories and beliefs that were born in Arab culture and have been passed down through the generations.
In the stories my grandmother told me as a child, there was always the element of caution and intimidation, forbidden ... allowed ..., the stories greatly frightened me.
I chose to convey my feelings as a child through a children's story, the story is about a girl called Abeer, she leaves her house towards Grandma's house, on the way she meets characters that Grandma warned her against, during the meeting with them Abeer discovers that they are different from what she is told, they have kindness And giving, the beliefs shatter, in the face of the truth that is revealed to the offender and the fear passes.
I chose to use the inspiration of the well-known story "Little Red Riding Hood", here too there is a story that is passed down from generation to generation, it has to deal with mystery and fear and it too like my story, ends in a good ending.
Despite the fear inherent in the stories told to me, I find that they are part of a childhood landscape, have a place to this day and should be preserved as beautiful legends, but in the same breath define them as baseless “superstitions”.
