comic book
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I am looking for an artist to create a comic book that is semi-realistic in style. The comic book will be based in an expansive world I have already created and I have several stories I would like to share. All surrounding a main story. Each volume of the comic book will average between 20-30 pages. I am looking for an artist with experience in creating comics, both realistic in concept and style. This is not a one off project but a long term one, as I am looking to develop this world further with the artist’s help. So, if you are looking to take on a fulfilling and long term comic book project, I am looking forward to working with you.
Its a high fantasy setting similar to LOTR or GOT but being less shy with the magical aspects. While not being as on the nose as things like Harry Potter. Which comes off to me as a bit too dorky. No shade just not my style. It has an expansive history thats been developed off and on for about 20 years. I've went from wanting to write books to make games for it, but I landed on comics as it seems like the medium that will best adapt it.
I'm very proud and protective over the concepts in it so I'm going to hold it close to the chest when talking about it. I'm not very much of an artist but I'm imaginative and will offer storyboards for the illustrator to apply their style over.
Pay can be discussed outside of the sites limited options. I'm not doing this to get rich. I just want my stories out there. If it gets huge Im more then willing to pass a good amount of what it would earn to those who helped it get to that point.
