Whimsical Retro Illustrated Book Cover

I'm looking for a creative illustrator to design a book cover for my fiction novel. The style should be whimsical, retro, and illustrated.

Key requirements:
- Genre: Fiction
- Style: Whimsical, retro, illustrated
- Elements: Scenic background, symbols or objects

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong illustration skills
- Experience with similar design
- Ability to create engaging and thematic scenic backgrounds and symbols/objects

The idea:
A main chessboard setup in front of a mirror and in the mirror, it's instead reflected as a tray of apothecary items, where the squares are filled with different herbs and powders. The pawns on the chess side will be glass vials of mixtures. The main queen on the chess side will be reflected as a special vial of a deadly poison. I'm not 100% sure what I want surrounding it other than plants and vines coming up the sides but I'm open to experimenting and talking it out! I also have brief sketches and other book covers I like that I can send to get the vibe of what I want better :)
