WOOFSTREAM Centre : Reconnect with Nature. Holistic centre of learning, creativity, wellbeing and community
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
We are looking for basic visuals/ illustrations for a grassroots proposal for a Mullti purpose, nature based, community centre
Looking for someone who can take my sketches and photos to create more professional looking sketches and visuals that will give an artists impression of the proposed 'Centre'> The Centre would be 'campus style' with 6 modular pavilions with connecting covered walkways around an open courtyard.
At the entrance to the centre we envisage a Welcome and admin building:
Each unit can be modified to the activities within. The initial idea is to offer different services and activities to the public. The goal is to help people reconnect with a fulfilling life after the traumas and separation of the Covid 'era'.
6 Pavilions
1. Humane Education Classroom
2. Nature School
3. Holistic therapies and Wellbeing
4. Early Learning - Nursery
5 The Imaginarium: A multi purpose space for Creative Arts, Dramatic Arts, Techno space ( for those creating 'apps' and computer games, programmes. plus a an 'inventors' workshop
6. Cafe - serving healthy foods, juices, coffee
In addition to the 6 campus buildings.
There would be a Children's Playground - using only natural materialsto the exterior of the Early learning centre, close to the Cafe.
A School garden and green house zone behind the Nature School classroom
Animal Zone : Approx 1 acre. : Small petting zoo and a Senior dog sanctuary.
Initial Vision concepts.
The plan is to purchase greenfield land near a Woodland area, with open space to construct the 'Centre 'campus style , and a separate area for animals;
The ANIMAL ZONE would include a small 'Petting zoo' concept' with small farm animals, couple of donkeys, chickens, ducks etc.
Also in this zone it is proposed to build a Senior Dog Sanctuary and rehabilitation centre.for up to 16 dogs including a treatment room, a 'residence' building for the dogs( not kennel runs)
Behind the Nature School classroom we would create a 'School garden 'and small greenhouse
The project is at the very , very beginning of the 'germination stage, we're not even at grass roots level !
We need some coloured professional looking sketches-artists impressions to get the ball rolling to present to interested partners as we build a team to develop the concept further into a working business plan .
NOTE : At this early stage we're not looking for highly polished artists impressions, just some visuals giving an overview of the architectural concept of the campus style centre .
We envisage buying modular units that can be erected quickly and cladding the buildings with natural looking materials. eg wooden plank siding, or Nature scene murals on some of the walls.
The visuals are to to be used in discussions ad an initial presentation to an enterprise scheme that helps find investors or sponsors for new projects.
Note the Artists impression uploaded here is the architectural inspiration for our project, this was created for Slate School by architects in Connecticut . It has been our inspiration for the type of architecture we believe works best for our project.
