I’m commissioning a series of black-and-white political/editorial cartoons that look like they just rolled off a late-1800s newspaper press. Think tight pen-and-ink line work, heavy cross-hatching and stippling, and that wood-engraved “Gilded Age” texture. Each piece will rely on sharp caricature and layered allegory—maps with labels, symbolic props, and the kind of sarcastic bite that made the originals so memorable.
