Partially Completed Vector maps consisting of small regions of 2 USA states. 2 Partially finished .ai file maps that need ROAD NAMES (or numbers if the roads names consist of a number only Excample Road #438) for ALL ROADS MISSING LABELS including Township, county, State, and US roads. There are a large number of small roads that need names inserted onto them that need to be viewable clearly at all viewable vector scaling views when the roads appear on the map. MILESTONE And FINAL PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

1st MILESTONE Payment

A milestone payment of 20% of winning bid will be made when the smaller Indiana map is complete since its the smaller of the two. So do Indiana first. The remaining will be paid when the 2nd larger Pennsylvania map is complete No other milestone payments will be made, be sure you know how long it will take you to complete before bidding. The maps are availble for inspection with instructions on how to verify the quantitiy of the roads on each map. So you know how much work there is. We are paying fair rates for fairly easy full day work here. You must be efficient at data entry. Not a slow typer.

Final MILESTONE Payment

You must work the weekend till complete to meet the deadline.

Final payment will be made if and only if the deliverables are according to spec and on time. Deliverables that are late would cost us money and therefore will forfeit the project without money. IF you do not deliver on time you will not get paid. This project is only valueble to us if it meets our deadline.

Portions of Indiana and Pennsylvania

Maps are already built and must remain in its existing format MUST remain as .ai files for use in Adobe Illustrator.

A Native Adobe .AI file MUST be part of the deliverables.

Maps including All Road NAMES must be Scalable in a user friendly fashion to the viewer, each road must have a name inserted. Larger roads are already done. Map itself is already done.

Definition of USA Counties- In the United States, a county is an administrative or political subdivision of a state that consists of a geographic region with specific boundaries and usually some level of governmental authority.

Pennsylvania counties requiring road naming:
Berks
Lebanon
Lancaster
Chester

Indiana counties requiring road naming:
Elkhart
Lagrange
Noble
Kosciusko

If you look at file UnfinishedMapSample.mhtml you will see the large highway US20 is named, but all the smaller GREY roads are not named yet. All roads need names when they appear on the map, and as you zoom in even more, more roads will appear, ALL these roads need names too. Keep in mind you are not labelling the entire 2 States, but small portions of each of the 2 US States.

If you look at UnfinishedMapSample2.mhtml you will see that the bigger organge roads all have names, they are done. Notice also the names of the counties (names of areas) are already on the map, Example: CLAY county or LUMA county, you do not have to name the AREAS of the State, just the smaller grey roads, ALL of them including the zoomed in ones.

Another sample Sample3.mhtml shows arrows pointing to roads that have no names, black roads, and grey roads. These are al roads that need names.

MOST IMPORTANT PART

Finding road names on the internet On Mapquest (and Google) the lines are not necessarily gray or black. You have to look at the lines and shape of the roads and match them up with what you have done on the suplied .ai files. Here is an example image.png the red arrow shows the map on the internet WITH the name you need, and the map on the right - the .ai file shows the road with the same shape that needs the label name.
