The following idea for the cartoon:
I want a political cartoon of the illusion of the american dream. Draw hundreds of people coming from all around the world to America, they have these high hopes like a white picket fence, a gorgeous house, a great amount of money, etc (they've all been told that this is what they want by other people). Then when they finally step through the divide/wall and into America, the American Dream is nothing like they imagined (it's an illusion). They live in a small bad apartment, bad neigiborhood, tiny paycheck, they're super tired and pale, etc.
Make the piece be a drawing, but have like a sketch/messy feel to it.
