Toddler Friendship Educational Story

Job ID: 40532409

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a complete picture-book manuscript that gently teaches children aged 3-5 about friendship. The story should feel playful and colourful while weaving in clear, age-appropriate lessons—think sharing toys, taking turns, or recognising feelings—so parents and educators can use it as a conversation starter.

You’ll create a concise narrative of roughly 500–700 words, broken into natural spreads to guide future illustration. Simple, rhythmic language, repetition, and plenty of dialogue will help early listeners stay engaged. Please avoid heavy exposition; show the friendship lesson through action and relatable preschool situations instead.

Illustration notes are welcome where useful (e.g., “Character hands over the red block here”), but the focus remains on delivering a polished manuscript in Word or Google Docs. Two rounds of revision are included so we can fine-tune wording or pacing after I read it aloud.

Upon approval I’ll receive:
• Final manuscript, page-by-page layout
• Brief illustration cues (optional)

If you’ve written for this age group before, samples will help confirm style and tone.
