Project Overview:
We are Star Trail Coffee Co., a small-batch coffee brand designed for adventurers, campers, and nature lovers. Based in Australia, we bring quality coffee to the trail — whether that’s in the middle of the bush, at a fishing spot, or around a campfire. Our mission is to fuel everyday explorers with coffee that matches their lifestyle.
We are now developing our signature T-shirt — one that becomes part of our identity, proudly worn by our community. We want this design to be unique, authentic, rugged, and inspiring — a shirt that any outdoor-loving Aussie would want to wear on their weekend trips or around the campfire.
What We’re Looking For:
A freelance graphic/T-shirt designer who understands:
Outdoor culture in Australia
Rugged yet stylish design
Coffee and camping/fishing aesthetics
Merch that people actually want to wear (not too corporate, not too cliché)
Design Direction:
We want a standout T-shirt design that will serve as our signature piece — something instantly recognizable and meaningful to our audience.
Must Haves:
A central graphic that blends coffee and the outdoors (e.g. a camp mug, fire, trail, stars, fishing line, tent, compass, etc.)
Clean, minimal linework or vintage/retro screenprint style
Outdoor adventure vibe, think rugged, worn-in, earthy
Designed to look great on earth-tone shirts (e.g. faded green, sand, charcoal)
A small version of our logo or brand name incorporated naturally
Target audience: the average Australian outdoor lover — campers, hikers, fishers, weekend warriors
