Semi-Realistic Artist/Illustrator for YouTube Channel
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We are looking for a talented illustrator to join our team at Bedtime Stories, a successful YouTube channel with nearly a million subscribers.
The ideal candidate will be able to create unique, monochrome illustrations with a semi-realistic style, utilizing charcoal, pastel and watercolour brush strokes.
Key requirements include:
• Proficiency in creating monochrome illustrations in a semi-realistic style
• "Strong compositional skills" in the bullet points (I mean the ability to draw something from scratch)
• Experience with charcoal, pastel, and watercolour brush strokes
• Ability to illustrate a variety of subjects including People, Animals, Portraits, Landscapes, Creatures, and Situations
Images would need background and foreground layers to create a “parallax” effect, and some images may require multiple versions to show how a situation changes within the narrative.
Your illustrations will play a pivotal role in bringing our episodes to life, capturing the imagination of our audience. A strong attention to detail, creativity, and a keen eye for storytelling through imagery are essential for this role. You would be expected to complete around 14-16 illustrations per month (7 or 8 every two weeks) and work to a deadline. This project would be ongoing, with a possible offer of permanent employment.
